The elders of Westridge Christian Church have been in many discussions concerning a response to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). Governmental authorities have issued guidelines and directives for the public to follow in order to prevent the spread of the disease.

The elders are concerned about the health and wellbeing of the flock. There is much unknown about the disease. But what is known is that for some people the disease is very dangerous. People in the older age group of 65 years and older along with people with compromised health conditions are the most vulnerable to the disease. We as believers are not to be fearful, but we must be wise.

To support the prevention and spread of the COVID-19 disease, worship services are being temporarily suspended and the church building will be temporarily closed for all group activities. The elders will make assessments weekly to determine when we can resume meeting at the church building.

What To Do

Worship –

Though we will not be meeting together for worship we are working on live streaming and recording the sermons. This will be on the church’s Facebook and YouTube to view.

Pray –

Be in continued prayer for our congregation and the community.

Personal Worship and Devotions –

Study the Bible. Have communion with your family. If you are participating in ABF, continue to follow the student manual.

Support –

Feel free to contact the elders for any needs or concerns. The elder’s can be contacted through the church office.

Also reach out to one another by phone or email.

Health Practices –

Practice good hygiene, especially those outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

These guidelines can be found on the following link.

Giving -

Though we are not meeting please don’t forget to give to the church. You can mail your check or contact us about dropping it off at the church during the week.

God Bless,
